Summary(主要内容)
This book provides a systematic introduction, in English, to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, which is the core of Japanʼs legal system for securities markets.
The book is an outcome from the “Program on Global Securities Market Law ”, which was established in the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo in October 2010 and completed in March 2016. Under the terms of the program, the theory and practice of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act were studied comprehensively from different angles, including a comparative law approach. One of the purposes of the program was to introduce Japanʼs legal system for capital markets to other countries. To this end the book was published in English.
